Julia Massey Silently Suffers

I don’t often like live music video recordings, especially today’s glut of YouTube filmed-by-a-phone live performances.

This one is much better than the normal glut, though. It’s Julia Massey & The Five Finger Discount performing an as-yet-unreleased song, “Who Silently Suffers?” (that blends in and out of a cover of a rather well-known song) at Empty Sea Studios (a show that I unfortunately missed). The sound & video quality are quite professional; it reminds me of the MTV Unplugged sessions:

They’re pretty much done recording their up-coming album, which is pretty exciting!
