Warren Dunes Returns to Tacoma This Thursday!
I was trying to come up with some clever portmanteau, but “Spanish Ballroom at McMenamins Elks Temple” has absolutely no “W” or “D” in it whatsoever!
They’re coming to the gorgeous Spanish Ballroom inside the new-ish McMenamins Elks Temple in downtown on Thursday night. Yes, it’s a school night, but it’s an ALL-AGES show and it starts at 7:00, so you can bring the kids! You should bring the kids!
Warren Dunes is sharing the stage with Chris King and the Gutterballs, as well as Tacoma band Modern Daze (of whom I confess I have not heard before). Julia also just announced that the extremely excellent local Tacoma rapper Chris Blount will be joining them for a song during their set!
